Provide emergency communications between military personnel and their families when the Greater Kalamazoo Chapter office is closed.
-Take emergency calls during specified shifts
-Maintain confidentiality of caller and service member
-Conduct an interview to obtain relevant information to process request
-Verify information received
-Complete necessary documentation
-Route message to Red Cross Authorities
-Ensure day staff has complete documentation for the case
-Please help us provide this most important service to service members and their loved ones!
-Willingness to support Red Cross Mission
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to work in emergency situations
-Flexibility
-Ability to work with diverse personalities and situations
-Computer literacy, email and internet access
-Training will be provided
-Background check must be passed
