Executive Service Corps of New England (ESC) is a regional nonprofit corporation headquartered in Boston, MA. ESC is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities we serve by providing high quality, affordable consulting services to nonprofits seeking to address critical organizational issues. We accomplish these goals by drawing upon an extensive volunteer network of current and former senior-level executives and professionals who are committed to helping public service organizations more effectively serve their constituents.

Description:
To carry out this mission, ESC provides ongoing training for its consultants so they can offer the latest thinking and best practices for the nonprofit sector. ESC also operates a free viewer access website, NewEnglandJobs.org that presents the region's most comprehensive and highly regarded classified advertisements section for nonprofit employment.

History:
ESC had its beginnings in 1982 as Careers for Later Years (CFLY), with incorporators Ezra Merrill, former Chairman of H.P.Hood Inc. of Boston, Caleb Loring, Jr., Managing Director of Fidelity Investments, General George S. Dedicated professionals who want the non-profit clients to succeed

Peole I work with at ESC are caring and SMART, There are former or current CEOs, CFOs and executives from numerous Fortune 500 companies. We need to build teams from within the NP and ESC. We "Teach them to fish!" It is fun and demanding. Not often does one have that mixture in any job.
