Goodwill of Orange County is much more than the sum of our thrift stores and donation centers. We offer job training, placement, and the tools to achieve individual success to people with disabilities and other barriers. But the most critical thing we offer is opportunity. The people we work with don't want charity, they want a chance to succeed. And they pursue success the same way we all do. By doing their best. Working with total dedication. And always trying to do better.

History:
Founded by Rev. Edgar James Helms in Boston in 1902, Goodwill’s heritage of good works has endured for over a century. Goodwill of Orange County began helping people to help themselves in 1924. Led by Rev. John Winterbourne, Goodwill of Orange County began operations in Santa Ana. In 1932, Goodwill of Orange County was incorporated as an independent organization. Goodwill's mission has grown to an international movement, improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.
