Bilingual Call Handler

This position holds the responsibility of promptly answering phones, assessing caller needs and directing them to appropriate resources, and assisting with database updates to ensure up-to-date information.

Completion of on site training.
Must be age 18 or older.
Ability to speak a language other than English fluently.
Desire to make a difference in the community.
Interest in social services.
Proper telephone etiquette, calm demeanor, active listening and assessment skills.
Basic computer skills, copying, faxes, filing, etc.
Follow agency protocol for tracking calls and hours of volunteer service.
