Our mission is to provide free tax help for taxpayers with low- and middle-income, with special attention to those age 60 and older.
Description:
AARP Tax-Aide is the nation's largest, free, volunteer-run tax counseling and preparation service; and is a charitable nonprofit that provides a quality service that helps taxpayers. All volunteers pass an IRS exam to become certified to prepare taxes.
History:
AARP Tax-Aide has been helping taxpayers for over 35 years. Last tax season we served just over 2,000,000 taxpayers nationally.
