 Assist Milwaukee Public Museum staff educators in directing activities and crafts for young visitors, making sure the they have the supplies and directions needed for the projects. Throughout the year the Milwaukee Public Museum has "Celebrations of Culture" days. Each month a new culture is celebrated, including European, Asian, African, Native American, Latino and the Streets of Old Milwaukee.
The "Celebrations of Culture" days run 10a.m. to 2p.m. If interested in only volunteering for a certain Celebration of Culture, go to www.mpm.edu/careers/volunteer.php for specific culture's dates.
This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working with and assisting children. There will be activities and crafts already created for the workshops that volunteers will have to help run. Training will be on-the-job the date of the "Celebration of Culture" you have volunteered for.
·Must mail in volunteer paperwork at least 2 weeks in advance. (3 Volunteer documents at www.mpm.edu)
·Must be available for an interview Monday- Thursday, 10am-5pm. Will be contacted for specific appointment.

The museum is located at NE corner of Wells & James Lovell (7th Steet). MacArthur Square parking is adjacent to the museum with a James Lovell entrance. There's a museum entrance inside the parking structure. $5 reduced parking for volunteers with validation.
