Last updated on November 11, 2008
Logo

The Canine Coach program focuses on teaching our dogs the basic commands of obedience. A dog that knows how to sit, stay, and lay will find a forever home more quickly than those without these skills. The Woodford Humane Society will give you the "Coach's Playbook" to help you teach these skills to our adoptable dogs and inevitable help them find their forever home.

All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Anyone between 14-18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers wishing to be a Canine Coach should be patient and optimistic.
