     Beautician/Barber for home-bound terminally ill patients

Hospice of the Bluegrass provides health care for terminally ill, home bound patients. We need volunteer beautician/barber's to go to a patients home and cut, wash or sometimes perm their hair. Quality of life is very important to hospice and getting a haircut or wash is an essential part of life.

Beautician/barber volunteer's will need to provide a license to cut hair and will be required to have an annual TB test. A criminal records check will also be required.

Volunteers will work with the following groups
Adults (26-54)  Young Adults (18-25)
Older Adults (55+)
We need volunteers who are free at these times
Evenings  Weekdays
Occasional  Weekends
One-Time
