For Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah, Purim and Passover, deliver holiday packages to JFS clients and stay for a brief visit. Groups can also run food and tzedakah drives and create holiday cards for participants as part of the program. Special occasion visits are an effective way to introduce volunteers to friendly visiting, and are well suited for families, teens and volunteers who cannot make a more significant time commitment. Time commitment:approximately 3 hours per holiday. This opportunity is sponsored by: Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford
We need volunteers who are free at these times
