Bacon Congregate is looking for your help. We are a 23 unit congregate housing facility for frail elders in the South End of Hartford. We serve dinner on Thanksgiving and Christmas at 12:30 p.m. and we have a Bingo game after dinner for our residents. We are looking for 2-4 volunteers on each day to help set tables, serve dinner, visit with residents during dinner, clean up and run the Bingo game. The time frame would be from 12:00 p.m-2:30 p.m. No training required-we are just looking for some friendly people to bring a little cheer to our residents on the holidays. Kids are welcome! Many of our residents speak Spanish but we have staff available to translate if you don't know Spanish and all the residents enjoy Bingo-no matter what the language!! We provide everything-food, paper goods, Bingo game and prizes. This opportunity is sponsored by: Bacon Congregate
