Bacon Congregate is a 23 unit apartment complex for frail elderly. We serve a primarily Hispanic population in the South End of Hartford. Residents share one meal a day together in our dining room. Holidays can be a difficult time, especially for some of our residents without family. We are looking for volunteers to help setup and serve our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and visit with our residents during dinner to help make their holidays a little brighter! Bingo is a favorite activity with our residents and we'll provide the supplies and prizes if we have a volunteer to run the game after dinner! We have no training requirements for our volunteers-all that's needed is time and a smile to share with our residents! This opportunity is sponsored by: Bacon Congregate
We need volunteers who are free at these times
