Thank you to everyone who participated in the 17th Annual Day of Caring!
The event was a huge success and nearly 2,400 volunteers completed 132 projects at 88 different agencies throughout Central Indiana.
Start gearing up for the 3rd Annual Family Volunteer Day!
Who: Everyone! Specifically, any group of two or more people who consider themselves family.
What: Interact with senior citizens or children, help make arts & crafts, create holiday cards, distribute food to families in need, hang holiday decorations, paint, and more!
When: Saturday, November 22, 2008, 9am-1:30pm
Why: Family Volunteer Day allows volunteers, nonprofit agencies, and United Way to join forces to improve our community and strengthen families here in Central Indiana.
Two Ways to Select a Project:
1. Choose a project submitted by a local nonprofit.
2. Create a project that is specific to your family.
