Help adults increase their basic literacy skills and/or assist adults not native to English improve their ability to speak English. Your efforts will help someone improve their working life, be able to read to their grand children or make their way independently in a new environment.
Volunteers are also needed as GED instructors to assist adults in studying for their GED. This is in a small group setting.
Volunteers are matched with a learner following their training, which is provided free. This opportunity is sponsored by: Literacy Coalition
