Crisis Response Team (CRT) volunteers respond as a team to provide crisis counseling for groups of people who have been traumatized by natural or man-made disasters such as floods, tornadoes, or fires. The team has assisted victims of Hurricane Katrina and the Cold Spring school shooting. Teens may volunteer for the CRT. There are no degrees, previous training or experience required. Volunteers must be compassionate, willing to work with diverse people, and complete 40 hours of training. This opportunity is sponsored by: Freeborn County Crime Victim's Crisis Center
