About 10 youth in Mower County are waiting for a mentor to volunteer. Some have been waiting several years for a mentor, like Jamie, who is 11years old and likes to fish and ride bike. Or Marty, who likes to skateboard and swim and lots of outdoor activities.
There is Tammy, who wants to be a teacher or translator or police officer some day.
Volunteers need to be able to spend some time on a regular basis with the youth. They need to be able to drive. There are on-going opportunities to learn from and discuss issues with other mentors This opportunity is sponsored by: Mower County Mentoring Program
